7th March 2014
Dear Parents/Carers,
Lent has started and so have our Lent Games! We use this time to raise money to support the education of two brothers and their sister in the Gambia. The children organise and supervise the playing of these games and activities. It usually costs around 20p to play and prizes are awarded. You can read more about the charity (P.A.G.E.A.N.T.) here:

Parental appointment sheets are now out in the covered way for you to sign, for the week beginning 17th March. If you are unable to make these times, then please do contact your child/ren’s teacher for an alternative date.
Ringworm - we have diagnosed cases of ringworm at the school - please see
attached information sheet.
I have informed the school governors of my intention to retire at the end of the current academic year. It has been a privilege to have worked at this truly exceptional school during the last 26 years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank past and present staff, pupils and school governors for the privilege of working with them and their support in leading the school as headteacher since 2000. Also to thank those parents who have given their cooperation and continued support. The governors will now begin the
process of appointing a new headteacher to be in post for September 2014.
Best wishes,
V. A. Morris
