Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to the new term! I hope you all had a very pleasant Easter holiday.

Here are some dates for this term:

Tuesday April 24th      Years 5/6 Biology Road Show

Thursday 3rd May        School closed for pupils (used as a Polling Station)

Monday 7th May          School closed - May Day Holiday

Monday 14th May         S.A.T.s week begins

Monday June 4th - Friday June 8th     Half Term

Monday June 11th        Staff Training Day

Thursday 14th June     Woodgreen Animal Day

Friday 22nd June         Dr. Barnardo’s Assembly

Friday 6th July            Year 5 parents - Schools’ Admission Team meeting at 2 pm in school hall.

We will shortly be setting an early date this year for Sports Day!!! This will give us plenty of time to reschedule if the weather is unkind.

Also we will be sending letters out very soon about the after school clubs that we will be running this term. To be as fair as possible to all the children, we shall be initially limiting the number of clubs for each child to 2.

As many of the clubs will be held outdoors in this (hopefully!) fine weather on the way, we will be using the playground area at the rear of the school, so would ask you please to clear the area as soon as possible after 3.00 pm.
