in the borough directive taken from the Department of Health Guidelines for

It is important to remember that, although your child and all members of your
family may be fit & healthy (apart from the tummy bug) that is not the case for every child & family. Many children who attend school/nursery (or members of their families) may have a depressed or compromised immune system, or may have a
medical condition that makes a tummy bug much more serious for them than it is for others. What is a minor unpleasant inconvenience for your child could be a hospital admittance for one of these children.
